Miscellaneous Updates

  Facade project:  Culbertson has completed the replacement of scuppers and downspouts.  SRG and Culbertson are conducting a final walk through of the project and addressing a few minor items.

HVAC re-insulation project:  Contractors have started work on January 18, 2017.  They have completed the community room and are on track to finish the gym by January 27, 2017, and start on 1st floor units on January 30 per the schedule.

Laundry rooms un-avaibility:  Planned Building Services will be on site to clean the laundry rooms on January 31, 2017 (1st and 2nd floors) and February 1, 2017 (3rd, 4th, and 5th floors).  Laundry facilities will be unavailable between 8:00 and 2:00pm on those days. 

First floor laundry:  Scheffres will be on site to re-locate and re-connect the machines on February 1, 2017.  

Verizon/FIOS:  Stay tuned regarding schedule of cable wiring and tentative service start up.  

Bathroom drains:  Snaking of the pipes will be performed for sinks/tub/shower drains (similar to the work done for kitchen sinks) and residents will be informed once schedule is known.  To keep your drains clean, perform simple, low-cost maintenance at least once a month.  See household tips here:  http://www.wentworthplaceva.com/household-tips.html. 

Heads up:  A number of bins will be affected by the HVAC re-insulation project in the storage area towards end of March.  Owners/residents will be notified within the coming weeks and will need to empty completely their bins for work to be performed.
