HVAC pipe insulation project: Work is progressing very well and right on schedule. Most units are now completed with last one in progress.
Work in storage rooms start on March 29. Residents whose bins are affected have been asked to empty contents by March 28. Thanks to all for their cooperation.
Work in the mail room/lobby/vestibule will start on/about April 3. As with the facade project, lobby access will be closed/limited for about 7-10 days. Notices will follow.
BBQ grills: A number of grills have still not been identified/claimed. They will be discarded after April 8, 2017.
Pool opening: Scheduled for May 27; Sunset Pools mgt. are now on site to prepare the pool for inspection.
Hours will be: Monday to Friday: 2:00pm to 8:00pm; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 11:00am to 8:00pm. Pool passes will be issued ahead of opening and will be strictly monitored for access to the pool.
E-care: check posting of March 6, 2017 for information.
Annual Meeting: Scheduled for April 6, 2017 - registration at 6:30pm and meeting at 7:00pm.
Subscribing to Association's email: Owners and residents who have not yet subscribed are encouraged to do so (on the website, under Contact Form). Important - and sometimes urgent - communications are sent as needed and all can stay informed.
Recent incident: Homeless men have been seen very recently sleeping outside the lobby and police had to be called. Make a note of the non emergency police number and call if you happen to see anything out of the ordinary. Tel: is 703-558-2222.
Security: Residents are reminded NOT to allow people whom they don't know/recognize to enter the building behind them.
