HVAC re-insulation project: Work is progressing very satisfactorily and on schedule. So far, the community room, gym, and five units have been completed. Contractors and board members are meeting on a weekly basis for updates and to address any minor issues.
Very soon, plans to handle work in the storage area will be finalized and a number of bins will have to be emptied. Residents will be informed in due course.
Concerns: It has been reported that pet owners continue to dispose of waste in non-designated areas. Notices have been posted and the cooperation of all is much appreciated.
It is the law that dog waste be picked up and dogs be on a leash at all times in the building and common areas.
Property fence: During the wind storm on February 11-12, part of our fence was damaged. Management and the Board are getting bids for repairs/replacement.
Annual Meeting: The Association's AM will be on Tuesday March 14 at 7:00pm (registration starts at 6:30pm). Owners are encouraged to attend and all residents are invited.
BBQ grills in the backyard: A couple of years ago, residents were asked to identify their grills and we were down to nine from some 20 (those unidentified were deemed not usable and discarded). The Board will be contacting all residents for another inventory and identification. Stay tuned!
Call box: It was reported that sometimes pressing 9 on your phone to open the doors does not work. A technician came over and said that one might need to press 99 instead.
Trash & Recycling: Reminder that bulk furniture and unwanted appliances MUST NOT be left in the loading dock or dumpster area. Arlington has scheduled a collection on April 15, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson school. See website for information.
