Facade Project update

Work on the facade project is progressing very well and pretty much within schedule.

It started the week of March 21, 2016, when swings were set up, pre-construction surveys carried out in tiers 03 to 09, and various modalities put in place to carry out the work.  The main issues encountered are noise and dust - however, these have been addressed to the extent possible.  At this point, drilling is done and tuck-pointing has started.  Sealant around the windows and other structural aspects are being worked on.  This phase of the project is expected to be completed towards the third week of May.

The next phase will cover part of 03 tier to 15 - the front of the building.   Work is expected to start by the fourth week of May.  Lobby access will be limited during the day and for security reasons, the parking spaces in the front will not be available until the project is completed towards first week of September.

Pool opening is delayed to Memorial day weekend.  Because of the ongoing work and dust, the pool cannot be prepared and inspection done in time for the usual opening two weeks prior to Memorial weekend.
