Bulk pick up service

As part of our new trash pickup contract with American Disposal Services, we now have bulk pickup service every other Thursday. 
Items should be placed outside the dumpster enclosure, by the recycle bin the Wednesday before - as the truck can come very early on Thursday .  If you miss a pickup, please wait for the next date and DO NOT leave items in the dumpster area between pickup dates.
 
Schedule for next five months is as follows: 
 August 10,   August 24
September 7,   September 21
October 5,   October 19
November 2,   November 16,  November 30
December 14,   December 28.

NOTE:
 
-  This service is for bulk items ONLY, i.e. large furniture, mattress, box spring and the like.
 -  Electronics, computers/monitors, TVs, appliances MUST be taken to a recycling facility and not left in the loading dock,  dumpster areas or discarded in the regular trash/recycling containers or bins.
  -  Any demolition/construction debris & materials (old carpet, toilets, sinks, cabinets)  must be taken away by contractors and not discarded in trash/recycling bins.  
 -  No UNWANTED items should be left in the mail room, storage area and loading dock. 
 
Per Arlington County guidelines, we take this opportunity to remind everyone to use the designated containers for recyclables (plastic/glass, newspapers, magazines, office paper, metal cans) and regular/ household trash.  All cardboard boxes must be flattened and put in the recycling bin.
 
STRICTLY PROHIBITED in and around the dumpster area:  Oil, paint, auto batteries, toxic materials, flammables.
 
Pet waste should not to be discarded in laundry rooms,  mail room and loading dock containers.
